SCIENCE STARS
K-12 science students from all over the Rochester Area participate in Get Real! Science Activities. We use MANY different routes to connect with them and continue to find new ways to engage with students in the community. As an essential component of Get Real! Science, the afterschool science club, Science STARS (Students Tackling Authentic Relevant Science) has served RCSD youth for 15 years. We have done a lot of fun activities to explore science including filmmaking.
This year, five Science STARS lab teams will customize this COVID unit to explore the science of COVID from different angles and make a difference in their community in different ways. Let's meet the team!
